I'm curious if using a 5070 GPU with a 7800X3D CPU will result in a bottleneck. Will my CPU be able to keep up with my GPU during gaming, or will I just encounter performance issues?

It depends on the game and your settings like resolution or DLSS. Some titles might push your CPU harder than others, so it varies.

Yeah, some games are definitely CPU-heavy and might show more of a bottleneck.

If you're not planning on messing with any BIOS settings aside from the integrated GPU, your GPU will handle the graphics load just fine. But enabling the integrated GPU can introduce minor frame drops, so if you're concerned about that, it's best to disable it in the BIOS.

You're generally fine! People worry a lot about bottlenecks, but as long as your CPU can adequately support your GPU, you should be good to go. Usually, you want to avoid a CPU bottleneck because it can cause stuttering in games, especially when you're not capped at a certain frame rate. It’s better to be GPU-limited than CPU-limited in most cases.

Bottlenecks are pretty much inevitable. There's always going to be a factor holding you back, but in most cases, it’s manageable unless you're aiming for the very highest performance levels.
