Will a PSU with 4 PCI-E/6+2-Pin Work for a 5070 GPU?

I'm looking to buy a new power supply for my 5070 GPU, but I'm a bit confused. The specs for the 5070 indicate it needs a 12V-2x6 connector (which translates to a 16-pin). However, the power supply I'm considering, the Cooler Master G650 GOLD V2 ATX3.1, only has 4 PCI-E/6+2-Pin connectors. Does this mean the PSU won't work with the 5070?

The 5070 actually comes with an adapter that requires two 8-pin PCI-E cables from the PSU, so you should be fine! Just check that you can connect them properly.

So, it will work then?

Just to clarify, the 12V-2x6 is part of the ATX 3.1 specification. If your PSU is indeed ATX 3.1, it should include the 12V-2x6 cable you need for the GPU.

You'll definitely need to use two of those PCI-E cables with the adapter provided with your GPU. It's good to double-check that your PSU is ATX 3.1 compliant because then it usually includes the necessary cables.
