Will an 850W PSU be sufficient for a 5080 Super setup?

I'm currently using an 850W power supply and I'm curious if that's enough for my new build with a 5080 Super. My CPU is a 9800x3d, and I also have one NVMe SSD, two HDDs, and a WiFi/Bluetooth PCIe card. Should I consider upgrading to a 1000W power supply, or do you think 850W will cut it?

You should be good with 850W. The 5080 Super is speculated to have a TDP over 400W, but for most setups, including yours, it should leave enough headroom unless you’re pushing extreme overclocks or have a ton of peripherals. It's really about your whole system's configuration, but 850W sounds fine!

Thanks for clarifying! I’ll stick with my 850W for now and see how it goes.

An 850W PSU should be plenty, especially since a high-quality unit can handle it without issues. I had a quality 750W running a 4090 with a similar setup, and it worked perfectly fine!
