Will an ATX power supply fit in a micro ATX case?

I'm building my first computer with a micro ATX case and motherboard, but I have an ATX power supply. Will the ATX PSU fit in the micro ATX case, or do I need to get a smaller PSU? I also want to make sure there aren't any issues with my build. You can check it out here: [https://fi.pcpartpicker.com/list/vsVV6B](https://fi.pcpartpicker.com/list/vsVV6B) (just FYI, the prices are in Finnish). Also, I have an AMD Wraith Stealth cooler, not the Prism, but I couldn't find the Wraith on the site, so I picked the Prism instead.

If you’re considering overclocking in the future, you might want to rethink using a micro ATX setup. It can complicate upgrades down the line, leading to extra costs and potential headaches later.

For your build, it might also be worth looking into the latest CPUs. The 5600X has twice the cache of the 5500, and if you're looking at GPUs as well, consider getting 2 sticks of 16GB RAM. It helps with longevity too!

Could you break that down for me? I'm a bit lost!

Just a heads up, cable management could be a bit tricky with the extra PSU cables you'll have if you don’t need them all. A semi-modular or fully modular PSU can make managing those cables much easier for you. But remember, don’t get rid of any cables you don’t use; you might need them later for future upgrades!

Yeah, it should fit just fine! ATX is actually the standard size for power supplies, so it generally works in most cases, including micro ATX ones. Just keep an eye on the length of your PSU, though. Many micro ATX cases can fit PSUs up to 150mm long without issues. Your chosen PSU length is 150mm, so you should be good to go!

Thanks for the reassurance!
