Will I Get a Prorated Refund for Cancelled Apple OneCare?

I just signed up for Apple OneCare for my iPhone, iMac (which is almost 4 years old), and my new M3 Max MacBook. I previously paid around $150 for a year of Apple Care on the MacBook back on November 30, 2024. Since I've switched to Apple OneCare, will I get a prorated refund for the Apple Care I just cancelled on the MacBook? Thanks for any insights!

Honestly, your best shot is to touch base with Apple support about the refund details. They're navigating this change just like the rest of us, so answers may vary. Just keep that in mind!

From what I’ve read, they should give you refunds for any existing Apple Care plans. I did the same with mine, and while it may take a few days for the process to kick in, you should see something shortly!

Thanks! That’s how I’m seeing it too. I'll wait a week and contact support if nothing shows up. Gotta get that coverage for my devices, especially since my old iMac wouldn’t have qualified for the new plan!
