I recently enrolled all my devices in Apple OneCare, including my iPhone, iMac (which is almost 4 years old), and my new M3 Max MacBook. I paid about $150 for a year of AppleCare for the MacBook on November 30th, 2024. Now that I've cancelled the yearly AppleCare for the MacBook, should I expect to receive a prorated refund for that? Thanks for any insights!

Honestly, Apple support might be a bit confused about this, as they just found out about these changes at the same time as us, haha! They might not have the best info yet.
I spent an hour on the phone trying to sort mine out, and it's been a mess. I couldn't add my MacBook as my third device. Just a lot of confusion over the rules, it seems.
You should definitely get a refund for your existing AppleCare plans. I did something similar with two devices, and while it took a couple of days, I did see the refunds come through eventually! Just be patient; it works out!
I added four devices to my OneCare and only received a gift card for one! I was expecting a pro-rated refund for the others, which should be around $200. It’s really concerning that they haven’t processed those like they did for my other device.
Wait, you actually got a gift card? That’s interesting!
Thanks! That makes me feel better. I’ll give it a week and then reach out to support if I don't see anything.
