Hey everyone! I'm looking to build a gaming PC and want to know if my CPU or GPU will bottleneck when playing the latest games at 1440p with max settings. Here's my current setup:
- **CPU:** Intel Core i5-12600K 3.7 GHz 10-Core
- **CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE V3
- **GPU:** Asus PRIME GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B760M DS3H AX Micro ATX
- **RAM:** Patriot Viper Venom 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000
- **SSD:** Silicon Power UD90 1 TB NVME
- **PSU:** Corsair RM750e 750W Fully Modular
- **Case:** Cooler Master Elite 301 Lite
My budget is 1500 CAD, and I'm open to suggestions, including potentially switching to AMD for better performance. Any insights would be much appreciated!

You're probably safe from major bottlenecks, but keep in mind that at 1440p, performance can vary. Generally, your components seem balanced, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Every build has some bottleneck, but overall, yours looks pretty well-balanced. For 1440p, just manage your expectations with the GPU you have.
The 5060 Ti is decent for 1080p gaming but not the best for 1440p, so be prepared for some limitations there. It could affect your experience in more demanding titles.
Understood. Thanks!
There's always going to be some kind of bottleneck, but it really depends on how significant it is. For your setup, I think the 5060 Ti might be the one holding you back at 1440p max settings. It’s a solid card for 1080p, but it may struggle a bit at higher resolutions.
Got it. Makes sense, Thanks!
Appreciate it!
