Hey everyone! I recently built a new PC but had to cut back on the CPU upgrade and went with an Intel Core i5-14600KF. Lately, I've been feeling like I need a performance boost, so I'm considering upgrading to an i9-14900K. My question is, will everything in my current setup work well together if I make that upgrade? Here are my specs: **CPU:** Intel Core i5-14600KF, **Motherboard:** MSI PRO B760M-P, **GPU:** GAINWARD GeForce RTX 5070 PYTHON III, **RAM:** G.SKILL Ripjaws M5 RGB 64 GB, **SSD:** Samsung 990 PRO 1TB and 2TB, **Case:** Bitfenix MH100 with a 750W PSU, and **CPU Cooler:** Bitfenix Cube v2 360mm Liquid Cooler. Any insights would be appreciated!

It sounds like your motherboard might be a real bottleneck here. The MSI PRO B760M-P doesn't have VRM heatsinks, which can lead to thermal throttling, especially with a high-end CPU like the i9-14900K. You may want to consider upgrading your motherboard to something with better VRM support. As for your RAM, having four sticks can hurt signal quality, so if you can, swapping to a 2x32GB 6400 CL32 kit might improve performance too. A solid motherboard recommendation would be the Gigabyte Z790 Eagle AX.

I get that changing motherboards and RAM can be a hassle, especially if you're busy. But trust me, if your cooling is decent, you might run into serious performance issues with the i9 if you stick with the current motherboard. It's worth considering!
