Will My First PC Build Parts Fit Together?

I'm putting together my first PC build and I've been researching components for hours. Here's what I have so far: a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, an Intel CPU Core i5-12400F, 16GB of DDR4-3200MHz RAM, an ASUS INTEL H610 MicroATX motherboard, a Thermaltake Smart Pro 600W 80 PLUS power supply, and a ZALMAN T3 PLUS case. I'm wondering if all these parts will be compatible. Additionally, do I need to purchase a fan for the CPU, and should I get thermal paste for it as well? Thanks in advance for your help!

Everything you've listed should fit together nicely! The Intel i5-12400F works with the ASUS H610 motherboard, and your RTX 3060 Ti will fit in the ZALMAN case too. Just make sure the case allows enough airflow for your components to avoid overheating. For cooling, the i5-12400F typically comes with a stock cooler that should suffice for basic use. However, if you're planning on overclocking or want quieter operation, consider an aftermarket cooler. As for thermal paste, it's usually included with a new CPU cooler, but if you get an aftermarket one, you might need to apply it yourself. Good luck with your build!

Yeah, aftermarket coolers often come with thermal paste, but always check just in case! If you go with the stock CPU cooler, it should be fine without an extra purchase.

Just to add to what GamerGuy said: when you're looking for airflow, make sure that your case has good ventilation. Also, if you're buying used parts, double-check them for any wear and tear, especially the GPU and PSU. They need to be in good shape for optimal performance!

Great point! Used parts can save you money but it's crucial to ensure they work properly before buying. Inspect anything you can!
