I'm looking to upgrade my setup with a GeForce 5070 GPU and a Ryzen 9600X CPU. My current motherboard is an ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F. I couldn't find the GPU or CPU on PCPartPicker, so I'm wondering if my motherboard is compatible with these new components. Can anyone shed some light on this?

A more cost-effective option would be to consider the 5700X3D instead. Upgrading to the Ryzen 9600X would mean buying a new AM5 motherboard and DDR5 RAM, which could get pricey depending on your budget. Just know the GPU will work regardless.
Unfortunately, the Ryzen 9600X won't work with your B550 motherboard. The B550 is compatible with AM4 processors, while the 9600X is an AM5 CPU, which means you'd need to get a new motherboard and RAM as well. On the bright side, the GeForce 5070 should work fine since it fits in any motherboard with a PCIe slot.
You definitely need a new motherboard if you want to upgrade to the 9600X. Your current B550 is for AM4 processors, and the 9600X is an AM5 chip. That means you'll also need DDR5 RAM since AM5 requires it. As for the GeForce 5070, it’ll run perfectly in your system.
