Will my PSU work with the 3080 I bought?

I accidentally bought a MSI A750BN PSU for my PNY 3080 XLR8, but I noticed it only has one PCIe cable. I've daisy-chained it, which should allow the 3080 to get around 300W, but I've heard that these cards can draw more power. Will this setup function properly, or should I expect some issues?

It's surprising that a 750W PSU would only come with one PCIe cable, especially since my old 650W has multiple. You might want to consider exchanging it for a higher-quality, fully modular PSU that includes the correct amount of PCIe cables. It's worth investing in something that will handle your GPU properly.

Totally agree! It's a bit weird to have two 4+4 CPU cables but just one PCIe. Looks like you caught a significant oversight there.
