I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on my laptop a while back, and now I'm wondering if I create a Windows 11 ISO using the Microsoft tool and my activation is linked to my Microsoft account, will I still have an activated version of Windows after installing it on a new machine with that ISO? Thanks for your help!

If you did the upgrade using an OEM license, it's tied to the motherboard it came with, and it won't transfer to a new PC. Retail versions are different, as those can usually be moved to new hardware. Could you check if yours is the retail version?
It used to be that all you had to do was login to your Microsoft account on the new machine, but with OEM licenses, they are often locked to the original hardware. If you had a full retail license, you would have better luck transferring it.
From what I understand, Microsoft has changed how licenses work between versions. I used to upgrade from Win7 to Win10 and found that if you went through the upgrade process first, it would keep your key. The same could apply here, but be cautious since OEM restrictions are pretty tight.
Unfortunately, if you're moving to an entirely new machine, you're likely going to run into activation issues. The Windows license is usually tied to your original hardware, especially if it's an OEM version, which typically means it can't be transferred. So you'll probably need a new license for the new machine.
