I've recently managed to boost my budget for a new build and I'm looking at pairing the Ryzen 5 9600X with the Radeon RX 7700 XT. However, I'm a bit worried about potential bottlenecking. Will the CPU struggle to keep up with the GPU's performance, or is it the other way around? I've read that they can work well together, but I'm not completely convinced. My goal is to run games at 1080p with a steady 120-140 fps, though I know I could aim for 1440p later on.

They're well suited for each other! Bottlenecks can happen, but they vary by game, so it’s not something you can completely get rid of. That said, both components are close in performance, so you shouldn’t notice major issues in most scenarios.
Absolutely, the Ryzen 5 9600X and RX 7700 XT are a solid combo. The CPU should easily handle most games at 120+ fps, especially in most titles. Just keep in mind that the GPU might not always hit those high numbers in certain games, but overall they work together pretty well.
So, does that mean I should adjust in-game settings to optimize performance or is it more about the hardware setup?
