Will This Build Get Me 400+ FPS in Fortnite and Valorant?

I'm looking to build a PC primarily for playing Fortnite and Valorant. My main goal is to hit 400+ FPS so I can switch to a 400Hz monitor. I'm considering a combination of a 5060 CPU and a 9800X3D GPU, and I want to know if this setup is a good choice for achieving my FPS target.

That CPU and GPU combo is pretty insane! You should definitely be able to get those FPS numbers, especially if you're playing on 1080p.

What resolution are you planning to play at? If it's 1080p, you might get close to that 400Hz mark, but at 1440p, it's a different story. 4K? Not a chance! Need a bit more info here.

I’m sticking to 1080p—I found a monitor on Amazon that supports 400Hz!

No worries as long as you keep it at 1080p!

If you can stretch your budget a bit, consider upgrading to a 9070 or 5070. They might help you reach your goals even more easily! Also, make sure to share your full parts list on PCPartPicker.
