I'm currently using an Intel i9 12900KS, an RTX 3070, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and I'm thinking about upgrading to an RTX 5080. I mostly game at 1440p and I'm concerned about whether my CPU will bottleneck the GPU or if it's good to go as is.

Honestly, don’t stress too much about it! A lot of this bottleneck talk is overblown by influencers. You'll still get a solid performance boost with the RTX 5080, so go for it!
Your setup should be mostly fine! While some games could benefit from a CPU upgrade, in GPU-heavy titles, you probably won't notice a big difference with your current CPU compared to something like a 7800x3d. So, upgrading to the 5080 sounds smart!
