I'm currently using an RTX 3080 Ti paired with an i7-12700K, and I've got a chance to upgrade to an RTX 5080 at a great price. I'm curious if my CPU will bottleneck the performance if I make the switch. I typically play at 1440p, so any advice on whether this upgrade is worthwhile would be really appreciated!

It really depends on your gaming resolution. If you play at 1440p or higher, upgrading to the RTX 5080 should provide a significant boost in performance, including better average FPS and 1% lows. I just made a similar upgrade, and it really made a difference for me!
