I've been having a nightmare trying to get my new pre-built PC stable. I started getting corrupted file errors while gaming, which led to input/output errors when I tried running Linux. Now, I can't even install Windows 11 - the installation crashes at random percentages like 1%, 6%, 19%, and 30%. Sometimes it throws an error code (2147753984), and other times it just says the installation has failed.
I've replaced almost all components: RAM (new one passed MemTest), motherboard (replaced with ASUS Prime B550M-K ARGB), CPU, and even tried swapping the GPU with a 3070 Ti. I also put in a brand new Kingston NV3 SSD because I thought the first one was faulty. I've changed the installation media too, using different USB drives and redownloading.
The symptoms include frequent blue screens with MEMORY_MANAGEMENT errors, constant desktop freezes, and the Windows installer failing at various stages. The only components I haven't swapped out are the power supply (Xigmatek Sky II 750W) and the case. I'm testing in a shop with a different power source.
Given that the new SSD has failed just like the original one, and all other major components are new, could the power supply be the culprit? Can a bad PSU lead to specific write errors during installation without shutting off the PC? Or might there be a compatibility issue with the Kingston NV3 and this motherboard? Any advice would be greatly appreciated—I'm really at my wit's end!

It sounds like you’ve done a lot of great troubleshooting! Have you managed to collect any dump files from those blue screens? They can provide valuable info to diagnose the issue further. If you can boot into Windows, check for them in C:WindowsMinidump and consider uploading them for analysis.
Just a thought—if none of the previous suggestions work, you might want to consider testing with a different power supply. Faulty PSUs can lead to weird issues without shutting the system down completely. If you have access to another one, it could be worth a shot!
I'm experiencing similar issues with my setup. I’ve tried installing Windows a few times, but it freezes or restarts the installation process. It's super frustrating! I am also waiting on a new motherboard to test. You’re definitely not alone in this struggle!
You might want to double-check if you’ve accidentally enabled overclocking features, especially with RAM. Sometimes, XMP profiles are turned on by default, and that could lead to instability. Also, make sure your BIOS is updated; it's especially important for Windows 11 compatibility.
I don't think I manually overclocked anything, but I'll definitely check the BIOS settings and make sure everything is up to date.

I haven’t grabbed those yet, but I’ll try to access them and upload them for help. Fingers crossed there’s something useful in there!
