I've noticed that music played through my laptop sounds way better than the same music played from my phone, even when I use the same headphones. What could be causing this difference? Also, how can I improve the sound quality on my phone to match my laptop?

Different audio processing hardware between your devices can make a huge difference. I upgraded my office PC but kept the same speakers and noticed remarkable improvements. High fidelity audio is often overlooked today, but good gear still matters!

Are you both plugging into the 3.5 mm audio jack? The sound quality can differ drastically depending on the hardware. Laptops usually have better digital-to-analog converters (DACs) than phones, which can enhance audio fidelity. Also, check if you’re streaming or downloading music in a lower quality on your phone!

If you're using the same headphones for both devices, it's likely due to different sound settings and hardware capabilities. Phones typically have lower-quality audio outputs compared to laptops. Try using an equalizer app on your phone to tweak the sound levels to your liking!
