Hey everyone, I just built a new gaming PC with a Ryzen 9 9800X3D CPU, a 5070 Ti GPU, a ROG Strix B850i motherboard, 6000 C30 G.Skill RAM, and a WD Black M.2 SSD. When I launched Valorant this Saturday, I was really disappointed to see I was only getting around 700 FPS at 1080p on low settings, with the frames dipping to about 600-650 in-game. I've seen benchmarks showing similar setups hitting around 820 FPS even at 1440p. I've tried optimizing my Windows settings and adjusting things in the NVIDIA control panel, but it hasn't helped much. Any ideas what might be causing this?

That sounds pretty normal given the CPU-intensive nature of Valorant. Lowering your settings to 1440p could shift the load to your GPU, which might result in better frame rates. Give it a try!
Your setup should handle games beautifully. I recommend running a benchmark test like 3DMark Time Spy to see if your scores align with the expected performance. Many individual game benchmarks can be misleading or inaccurate.
You might want to check if something's off with your motherboard settings or if there's an issue with the benchmarks you've seen. You could also consider overclocking your CPU for that extra boost.
Some benchmarks you see online are not exactly reliable. They can be exaggerated or manipulated. Just because someone else gets a certain FPS doesn't mean you will too, especially in real-world scenarios.

Also, don't forget to check if you have Resizable BAR enabled; it can help improve performance in some cases.
