I'm really in a jam with my Ubisoft account and could use some advice or pointers. When I was younger (I'm 16 now), I linked my PSN account to a Ubisoft account (username Wayxouu), where I've spent over 120 hours playing Rainbow Six Siege and collected a lot of skins. Recently, I accidentally disconnected my PSN from my Ubisoft account and now I can't log back in. The trouble is that the email associated with my Ubisoft account is an old Gmail account that I can no longer access.
I've tried a bunch of things: I've reached out to Ubisoft support multiple times and sent them all sorts of proof, including old and new PSN usernames, a PlayStation receipt for a Rainbow Six purchase, screenshots of my trophies and playtime, and even photos from my console showing timestamps. But they've told me it's not enough to verify that the account is mine.
I even contacted the CNIL (the French data protection authority) under GDPR, but those complaints can take ages to resolve. So, I'm hoping to find someone here who has dealt with this situation. Has anyone been able to recover their account without access to their old email? Is there a Ubisoft community manager around, or anyone who can lend a hand? I just want to get back to playing before summer ends. Thanks for any help!

I feel your pain! You might want to consider appealing through different ways. Sometimes, appealing from the device you used to create the account or even from the same network might help your case. Make sure you provide as many purchase details as possible and the serial number of your console if you can. Ubisoft has strict policies, and they want solid proof that it’s really you. They might have a checklist you can’t fully meet right now, especially without the email.
Honestly, dealing with Ubisoft support can be a hassle. You might have to keep pushing them for clarity. They often have an automated response system that doesn't help much. Just keep being persistent; sometimes, they eventually help when they see you won't give up!
From what I've seen, Ubisoft tends to follow policy strictly, and it sucks when you're in a situation like this. They have those reporting options for cheaters, but often don’t take action, so I totally understand your frustration. It really feels like a game of patience.
Right? It's like they give us all these tools to report or get help, but when we actually need them, they just shrug it off. Kinda feels like a joke.
It sounds super frustrating! Unfortunately, if you can't access the email linked to your account, that complicates things quite a bit. Ubisoft's support is usually pretty strict about email verification to prevent account theft. Your best bet, as you mentioned, might be to try restoring that old Gmail account since it's your strongest tie to the Ubisoft account. If you can prove ownership there, it might make it easier for them to help you out.
While waiting, keep sending any additional proof you can get your hands on, like past receipts and any other details about your account. Fingers crossed!
Thanks for the reply! I've been trying to access that Gmail account, but Google won't let me recover it. I'm reaching out to anyone who can provide tips or insights!
Thanks for all the tips! I’ve already sent them loads of proof, and I’m currently looking for an old tablet where I might still be logged into the Gmail. That’s my last shot!
