I'm struggling with crashing issues while trying to play some games I recently got on Steam, specifically Witcher 3 and Shadow of Mordor. Each game crashes about 30 seconds after I launch them, and the crashes are so severe that my PC shuts down completely. This has locked me out of my computer for 2 hours due to frequent restarting. I've updated my drivers, messed with some files, and even tried reinstalling Witcher 3, but nothing seems to fix the crashes. My setup includes an RTX 3050 with 8GB and a Ryzen 5 3600.

It sounds like your OS is crashing rather than the games themselves. You didn't mention which operating system you're on, but checking the crash logs could really help figure out what’s causing the issue. Most likely it's either a driver problem or something with your graphics pipeline like DirectX.
I'm on Windows 11, but I don't get any crash logs. I'm considering doing a factory reset on my PC just in case it's a virus or something.
