I've been waiting for almost 4 days after submitting my SES production access request for the ap-south-1 region. I was told support would reach out within 24 hours once I submitted the necessary documents and details. Has anyone else experienced delays like this? What's the usual wait time for getting production access?

Based on my experience, it usually takes longer than 24 hours, especially if you don't have an enterprise support plan. When I applied, I remember it took about a week for a response. To speed things up, it's helpful to provide extra details upfront. Include everything like email volumes, DKIM settings, and alert configurations right away. This way, they won't just ask for it later. I remember sharing a detailed breakdown of our usage every time, and it seemed to help! Also, the 50k emails per day limit is common for production access, so it's good you're under that.
That's really useful info! I guess I should prepare that info before reaching out again.
I understand your frustration and apologize for the delay. Generally, these requests are processed in the order they come in. If you share your case ID with me here, I can check on its status and ensure it's with the right team. I'd like to help get this moving for you!
Thanks for your quick response! I can't DM you, but here’s my case ID: **175197553900300**.
Thanks for breaking that down! I appreciate the tip about providing details right away. I’ll definitely follow your advice.
