I'm looking to dual boot Arch Linux and Windows on my computer, using two different drives. I have a couple of questions: First, if I use the archinstall command to install Arch Linux on an empty NVME SSD—without affecting the drive that Windows is on—will that be safe? I want to make sure I don't mess anything up with my existing Windows installation. Secondly, in case something goes wrong with my Arch Linux setup, will my Windows installation and data on its drive remain unaffected? Thanks in advance for your help!

Just a heads-up: make sure you back up your data before starting the installation. If you're really worried about messing things up, consider physically disconnecting the Windows drive while you install Arch.
For sure! It's safe as long as you pay attention. Just make sure you correctly select the drives during installation to avoid any mix-ups!
Yes, installing Arch on an empty NVME SSD without touching the Windows drive should be fine. As long as you're careful during installation, GRUB can be configured to handle both operating systems without an issue.
That’s correct, but you should be confident in what you’re doing. If you're new to this, it might be better to do some more research before proceeding.
