Hey everyone! I just started my IT career as a support desk engineer, and I'm struggling with the background noise in my office. I recently bought the Logitech Zone Vibe 100 hoping for some active noise cancellation, but unfortunately, it hasn't worked at all. My budget is around $150, and I prefer over-ear headsets because they feel more comfortable to me. Any recommendations? Would love to hear what has worked for you all!

Yealink has some nice noise-canceling options for work that fit your budget. Just make sure the headset has a good noise-canceling mic as well to avoid background noise during calls!
You might consider the Poly Voyager Focus headsets. They have great active noise cancellation and don’t break the bank. I bought a bunch for my team and they work wonders in our noisy office.
Sony has been getting rave reviews for their noise-canceling headsets lately. I personally have the WH-1000XM4, but I ran into issues with mic quality. It's great for music and outdoor use but not for calls. Might want to check out other brands if you're looking for something that's more reliable for office calls.
That's interesting! I had trouble hearing on my WH-1000XM4 too. I ended up switching to a Poly 5200 headset, which works much better for calls.
Have you checked out the Soundcore Life Q20? They're super comfy and provide solid noise cancellation. I usually wear them all day even without sound just for the noise-blocking benefits! Give them a shot, you might like them.
I think I will give this a try! Thanks for the recommendation.
If you can stretch your budget a bit, the Bose QC35 II is fantastic for noise cancellation and comfort. I wear mine for hours and they last all day on battery. Plus, the mic quality is solid for calls, and they're great for music too!
I heard a lot about them! How's the mic quality on them? That's what I'm most concerned about.
