My company recently experienced a ransomware attack, and while we successfully located one of our three Azure-backed servers, we're having trouble retrieving the other two. We've only received backup confirmation emails for these two servers about a week ago, and now we're reaching out to Azure community support, but it's not proving helpful. Are there any third-party IT consulting services that specialize in this kind of recovery support? Thanks for your help!

Are you having trouble finding the vault itself or just the servers within it? Remember that vaults can have configurations like soft deletes or immutability turned on. If neither is set up, it could complicate your recovery.
This happened to a client of mine a couple of years back during a ransomware attack. When we went to recover from backups, we couldn't find them either. It turned out that the ransomware tried to delete the backup vault but couldn't due to existing backups. However, they managed to delete the backup chain. Make sure to check the vault where the backups were supposed to be and look for any deleted backups or servers there.
Honestly, you won't get much assistance from the Azure community support unless you raise a paid support ticket. If you can, switch the affected subscription to a Standard support plan—this should improve your chances of getting the help you need. Microsoft is the only one with the proper access to assist in restoring your backups.
