I just switched from Windows 11 to Bazzite, and I'm really enjoying it! Everything works out of the box, and the performance has been fantastic. The only issue I'm facing is regarding Proton Unlimited. I've heard that it doesn't officially support Flatpak, and I'm concerned about the safety of using Flatpak Proton. I'm considering making the move to Fedora, but I'm apprehensive about manually setting up things like NVIDIA drivers and DaVinci Resolve, as I'm not very familiar with that process. I love the comfort that Flatpak's immutability provides. Can I still use the Ujust tools and settings on Fedora, especially for DaVinci?

Are you asking about Proton VPN? If so, you can actually import OpenVPN and WireGuard configs into the default OpenVPN client on Bazzite. The ProtonVPN client is mainly for those who want extra features. Just a thought!
I'd suggest trying out Flatpak Proton for ease of use! But if you're worried, the Steam RPM version is recommended for better performance and is pretty straightforward to set up.
I’ve heard mixed things about that since it’s unofficial, so I’m a bit hesitant.
I get that, but many users find it works fine for their needs!
For the NVIDIA setup, I've found that NVIDIA works fine right out of the box on Fedora! Just follow the official docs if you do switch over to Fedora, but you might be pleasantly surprised.
Really? So it works on Fedora too?
You might want to check out the migration page in the Linux4Noobs wiki for tips! Just remember to avoid installing stuff from third-party repos and verify your ISOs after downloading to stay safe.
Yeah, I meant Proton VPN since I have the unlimited subscription.
