Hi everyone! I'm having trouble converting files so they can play on Windows Media Player. It seems like the formats I have aren't supported because of codec issues. I found some instructions online that suggested enabling an option called 'Allow all codecs', but I can't find that option in the player itself. I've tried another media player that supports my files, but it doesn't allow me to download them, making it pretty much useless. Can anyone help me figure out how to convert these files to MP3 so I can play them on Windows Media Player?

If you're dealing with audio files and Windows Media Player isn't cooperating, try using VLC Media Player! It's free and can handle just about any file format. You can also download the K-Lite Codec Pack, which might solve your codec problems.
VLC? Is that really free? How do I download it?
