How can I add music to my iPod A1367 now that iTunes seems outdated?

I recently won an iPod A1367 on eBay for just £1, and I'm excited to put some music on it. The problem is that it looks like I need to use iTunes to transfer music, but I'm not sure if iTunes is even still a thing anymore. I tried connecting the iPod to my Windows laptop and Chromebook, hoping I could just drag and drop music onto it like in the old days, but that didn't work. How can I resolve this?

iTunes is still around! You can download it from the Apple website if you need it for music management. Just head to itunes.com, and you can find the version for your operating system. Don't worry, you're not missing out on anything.

Good to know it's still available! I remember using it a lot back in the day.

Thanks for the tip! I wasn’t sure if iTunes was still supported, but now I’ll check that out.

If you're on Windows 10 or later, the Apple Music app does what iTunes did for music transfer. Mac users can use Finder directly. It's a new way of managing your files without relying on the old software.

Awesome, I’ll try the Apple Music app first and see if that works for my music collection.

Definitely go for the Apple Music App! If that doesn't do the trick, download iTunes directly from Apple. Keep in mind that you won't find a full version on the Microsoft Store; that's just for podcasts and audiobooks. Music management on iPods has always required iTunes.
