I'm looking to clone my 2TB SSD to a new 4TB SSD and I want to know what free software is out there for doing this.

Clonezilla is another option. It's free and does the job, but be warned, it's not the most intuitive software at first. A guide can help a lot! You'll need a USB flash drive and an enclosure for the new SSD, though. After cloning, you might also want to use something like Minitool Partition Wizard to expand the new drive partition to use all that space. It can be tricky, so definitely look it up!

If you're on Windows, you can actually resize the partition while it's running!

You might want to check out Macrium Reflect; it's been my go-to for years and it works really well!

Totally agree! It's super reliable and user-friendly.

Also, check the brand of your new SSD. Some brands, like Samsung, have their own cloning tools, which might be easier to use.
