A while back, I mistakenly installed Windows on my HDD instead of my SSD. Now, my PC is running super slow, and I want to fix this. I've got a new SSD because my old one wasn't up to speed with the rest of my setup. I'm looking for some guidance on how to install Windows on the new SSD and migrate away from the HDD. Here are my main questions:
1. When is the best time to install the new SSD? Should I replace the old one immediately, or is there a specific order I need to follow?
2. I've got mostly games and programs on my HDD. Since I'm okay with losing everything there (I can just reinstall my games), do I need to uninstall anything on the HDD before overwriting Windows?
3. What's the best way to handle this whole process? I'm not very knowledgeable about computers, so I'd appreciate any step-by-step instructions or YouTube videos to help me without risking my setup. I've invested a lot into this PC, and I want to make sure it works better after this!

Check out Hasleo Backup Suite. It’s a free program that lets you clone your disk or partition and copy it to the new SSD. This way, you can avoid a complete reinstall and keep things running smoothly.
You have a couple of options. You can either clone your entire HDD to the new SSD or just remove the current HDD and do a fresh install of Windows on the SSD. If you have enough slots, you can put the HDD back in after installing Windows to use it for extra storage.
Just clone the HDD to the new SSD and you're good to go!
Best idea is to swap out the old HDD with your new SSD first. Leave only the new SSD plugged in while you install Windows. Once that's done, you can easily reconnect the old drives to transfer any files you need.
