Hey everyone, I'm in a tough spot and really need your advice. A few days ago, Google unexpectedly disabled my account due to what they called 'suspicious activity.' I've had this account for around 10 years, mainly just using it for emails. Nothing out of the ordinary, as far as I can tell.
When I tried to recover my account, Google was asking for old passwords and my phone number. Unfortunately, when I enter my Belgian phone number, it tells me that they can't send a verification code to my operator. After multiple unsuccessful attempts, I ended up getting blocked for 'too many failed attempts.' Now, the recovery page is stuck, and when I try other recovery options, it says there's 'missing information.'
I did receive an email at my recovery address stating that my Google account is temporarily disabled, but to my dismay, there's no way to contact their support—no email, phone number, or live chat. I'm really anxious about this because if my account gets deleted, I'll lose all my important emails and information. Has anyone else gone through this? Is there any way to get in touch with Google to resolve this issue?

I totally understand your frustration! I had a similar issue with my Google account. What worked for me was to wait a couple of days and then try the recovery options again. Also, make sure to try recovering from a different device or network if possible, as sometimes that helps the verification process. Good luck!
So sorry to hear you're dealing with this! Unfortunately, Google has a pretty strict process for account recovery, and it can be really frustrating. Have you tried reaching out through their social media accounts? Sometimes they respond faster there than via traditional support channels.
Thanks for the tip! I hadn't thought of trying social media. I'll definitely give that a shot!

Yeah, I second that! Sometimes giving it a little time can clear things up. Plus, checking from a different device might just do the trick.
