Can my employer monitor my personal device if I log into Okta?

Hey everyone! I'm curious about my employer's access to my devices. I work from home using my personal WiFi on a company laptop that requires Okta for login. I know they can monitor activity on the company device, but what happens if I log into their portal via Okta on my personal device? Can they track my personal device in that case?

In theory, they could monitor your personal device if you installed tracking software. But just logging into their portal doesn’t give them access. Honestly, why not just use your company laptop for accessing work emails instead?

Nope, as long as you don’t log into Okta on your personal device, you should be good! Just stick to your company laptop for work stuff and you’ll avoid any worries.
