I have a laptop with an AMD APU running at 3.2GHz, equipped with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. I've tried using Zorin, but it wasn't to my liking. I'm looking for a Linux distribution that suits my daily activities, which include coding, gaming, browsing, and yes, some piracy. What distro do you think would work best for me?

Yeah, Lubuntu runs on LXQT now, not LXDE. It’s lightweight and should work smoothly on your setup. Also, if you plan to upgrade to 8GB RAM, consider moving to Cinnamon Desktop for a better experience.

Lubuntu is a solid choice if you’re leaning towards something Ubuntu-like. It uses LXQT, which is okay, but if you prefer something else, look for a distro that utilizes LXDE instead.

Honestly, you can pick just about any distro that suits your tastes. Check out the Distro Hoop on GitHub; it provides some good recommendations!

You might want to check out Linux Mint 22.1 with the XFCE edition. It's pretty user-friendly and should work well on your hardware. Another option could be Bodhi Linux 7.0 HWE, if you're looking for something lightweight and customizable.
