Which GPU Should I Choose Instead of the 5060 Ti?

I initially planned on getting the 5060 Ti with 16 GB, but I need to stick to a budget. Here are my specs: Ryzen 7 9700X, B650 Asus ROG motherboard, Arctic Liquid Cooler 3 Pro, 2GB SSD, 32GB RAM, and a 750W Gold 80+ PSU. I'm looking for a good alternative GPU that still lets me use Nvidia filters for gaming without breaking the bank. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Honestly, if you don’t really need the extra power for productivity, consider downgrading to a 9600X. The 9060 XT is still a good option, but it may not support all those game filters. Otherwise, checking for used Nvidia cards might be your best bet. I wouldn’t recommend new Nvidia cards unless it’s the latest generation.

I do plan to multitask with streaming and gaming, so I need something that performs well. Would the 9600X and 5060 Ti combo still work for what I need?

If you downgrade to the 9700X, saving about £100 might allow you to get the 5060 Ti new. That could work well for both gaming and streaming!

I'm looking at around £400.

If you’re thinking about swapping your cooler, consider going for the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 instead. It might provide better cooling than your current one.

Isn't water cooling generally better than air cooling? What's your take on that?

The 7060 XT could be worth a look, but if you're really focused on streaming, go for the 4070; it outperforms others in that area. Just a heads up, the bandwidth on the 5060 Ti is a bit capped, which might cause some stutters during gameplay.

But remember, the B650 is PCIE 4.0, so you shouldn't have any bandwidth issues.

You might want to look at the 9060 XT with 16 GB. It's a solid choice and well-priced while still delivering decent performance.

If you're planning to stream, I'd definitely recommend sticking with Nvidia because of their NVENC support. It's a game-changer for performance.
