I need to move my PC to a nearby room because of some renovations where it currently is. The new room is close, but there are a couple of curves in the way. Any tips on how to do this safely, or is it something I don't need to worry about? Thanks for your help!

Just unplug your PC and carry it over! Seriously, that’s usually all it takes. I do it all the time, even up and down stairs when I need to clean dust out. Just make sure to be gentle with it when moving, especially if you have a powerful GPU like a 4070. They can be a bit fragile.

Totally agree! I get nervous about my GPU too, but if you're careful, it should be fine.

Make sure to turn everything off completely and switch the power off at the back. Then just move it, replug everything in, and you should be good. But hey, you could totally prank yourself and try installing Windows 98 after moving, right?

Haha, everyone knows 1.6 is way better!

One tip I’d add is to remove your GPU before moving the PC, especially if it’s heavy. That way, you reduce the risk of any potential damage from bumps during the move. Just remember to plug it back in once you’re in the new spot!
