Hey everyone! I'm new to web development and I was assigned to create a website that should be somewhat similar to www.designatives.com—not exactly the same design, but with smooth animations and fully mobile-friendly. I'm really curious to know how long it would take you, depending on your experience level (junior, mid, senior). What do you think?

I’d say roughly 2 months. It's important to give yourself some breathing room since there are a lot of components involved and things can go wrong.
As a senior web developer, I think it could take about a month if everything goes smoothly. But keep in mind that if the client wants specific animations or features that you can't use readily, you might need to spend extra time developing those from scratch. Planning is crucial!
Great point! Depending on whether you need to add a CMS or if assets are provided, you could be looking at an extra week or two. Always add a buffer for unexpected hiccups!
Excellent insights! How much time would you factor in for testing and client revisions?

Totally agree! If the client has a clear idea of what they want, it could simplify things a lot. But sometimes it feels like a never-ending cycle of changes, which can double your time.
