Our Family Business Website is Flagged for Phishing—Need Help!

I'm currently working for my family's business, and we've hit a snag with our website. It keeps getting flagged for phishing or malicious behavior, which is really affecting our customers—especially when they're trying to access it. Sometimes they also just see a message saying they can't connect at all.

We primarily deal with billing and logistics as authorized resellers for DHL services. Our website runs on Joomla and is hosted with Network Solutions, while Host Gator manages our domain name. Despite trying various solutions, we still can't get to the bottom of this problem, and our sales team has reported even more instances of this error.

My younger brother handles most of our website's technical work since he has a good grasp of programming, PHP, and JavaScript. We would really appreciate any assistance or advice from anyone with web development knowledge to help identify the source of these issues and ideally find a way to resolve them completely.

It sounds like a tough situation! I’ve dealt with Joomla and web security issues before, like malware flags and SSL problems. You might want to check if you've set up your security certificates correctly. It could also help to look at your Google Console for any errors that might indicate what’s wrong. If you want, I can give you some troubleshooting tips or help pinpoint the issue more closely.

Another thing to consider is if you’re using the right server settings. Sometimes hosting conflicts can flag sites incorrectly. Have you tested your site with different security tools? They might give you insights into whether it's a server issue or something on the site itself.

I can imagine how frustrating that must be. Have you looked into your site’s URL? Sometimes, switching to HTTPS can resolve some security checks. You mentioned it worked temporarily; maybe there's a deeper issue that's causing it to revert back. Just to be safe, check for any compatibility issues with your hosting provider too.
