Why is my Canon IR Advance not sending scans to email anymore?

Hey everyone! I'm having an issue with a Canon IR Advance printer that suddenly stopped sending scanned documents to email. The printer and scanning functions work fine, but the emails just never arrive for the customer. I noticed an error code #806, which refers to incorrect credentials, but that doesn't apply here since I'm trying to send emails directly instead of using a shared folder. This issue affects all the emails in my address book. I've checked the SMTP settings, and they seem fine because the connectivity test passes. We even contacted the printer support, and they confirmed that all settings look good and everything should function properly. There aren't any firmware updates either. I'm not seeing anything in the mail trace, which suggests that the emails are never sent out. Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

Did someone possibly disable the direct send functionality? This setting can often be overlooked and could be the reason why scans aren't going out anymore.

Have you checked the sign-in logs for Office 365? Sometimes, even if the credentials are working fine on other devices, there might be an issue specific to the printer. It could be helpful to try using a different SMTP service, like smtp2go, just to rule that out. Also, make sure there haven't been any updates to conditional access policies that could affect email sending from your printer.
