Should I Upgrade My CPU or GPU for Better Gaming Performance?

I'm currently using a 3060 GPU along with a Ryzen 5 5500, but I'm experiencing stuttering in games even at low settings in 1080p. I realize I need a CPU upgrade, and I'm considering getting a Ryzen 7 7700X along with a new motherboard and RAM combo. However, I'm also contemplating whether it's better to invest in a used GPU instead. What are your thoughts?

I suggest upgrading to a Ryzen 5700X3D and keeping your current motherboard for now. Once you've done that, think about upgrading your GPU down the line.

The AM5 platform is a solid choice for 1080p, and your 3060 should hold up for a bit longer while you do that upgrade.

That's what I'm leaning towards!
