Hey everyone, I'm trying to set up Home Assistant using ESPHome on my machine. I heard that using Docker is the easiest way to go about it, so I have Home Assistant running in a container. My Docker is set up to auto-connect to Wi-Fi, and it shows that it has a connection, but I'm having trouble getting Home Assistant to work properly—I can't seem to connect to the web user interface. Any advice?

Honestly, setting it up with a virtual machine might be easier for some users. Just be aware that if your computer is running on Wi-Fi, you might run into issues because a VM typically needs a USB dongle to connect to Wi-Fi properly. Make sure you've got that sorted out!
If you're new to this, I'd say consider starting with a Raspberry Pi instead. It's really straightforward and gives you a good chance to learn the ins and outs of the system. Once you get comfortable, then you can move on to more complex setups. Trust me, there's a lot to digest!
