Hey everyone! So, I previously used Ubuntu LTS, but one day I booted up my PC and was greeted with something called "EasyBox"—it was pretty confusing. I didn't have time to troubleshoot, so I ended up just switching back to Windows 10, which meant I lost all my important files. Now, I'm looking to return to Linux because I want to use Docker, which definitely performs better on Linux. However, I really want to avoid any unexpected surprises like that "EasyBox" incident. So, I'm curious: what Linux distribution would you recommend for someone who just wants a stable experience without having to deal with lots of technical details?

In my opinion, Ubuntu is still one of the most stable options out there. I've been running it on my work machine for over 3 years without any problems. It's user-friendly, too—my mom uses it on her computer, and it's been solid for more than 2 years!

What about OpenSUSE? It has a good reputation for stability as well.
