I'm looking for guidance on how to install Thanos without relying on Bitnami charts. Are there any recommended alternatives or methods for doing this?

I still use the Bitnami chart but opt for the official Thanos Docker image instead of Bitnami’s. It's a straightforward drop-in replacement and I haven’t had any issues with the recent changes to Bitnami Secure Images. If you're looking to avoid Bitnami altogether, this might be a good route for you!
Do you know if other charts also have drop-in replacement images? That would be helpful!
Check out the kube-thanos repository on GitHub. It’s a great resource and can help you set things up without Bitnami charts. It might require a bit more manual configuration, though.
Thanks for the tip! I’ve seen kube-thanos, but I’m worried it seems a bit non-standard. Is there any more conventional way to go about this? If not, we might just have to stick with kube-thanos.

I tried that approach last week, and it's been smooth sailing! No problems so far.
