Need Help Tweaking My First Gaming PC Build

I'm in the process of building my first gaming PC and I want to avoid any "overkill" parts while ensuring I'm still getting quality components. I already have my processor figured out, so that's not included in my budget. Here's my current part list (updated): https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VhzX8Q. My budget is capped at $2000, and I'm currently at $1780 without the processor. The GPU is set, but I'm open to any advice and recommendations for the rest of the build. Just to clarify, this PC is primarily for gaming, and I want it to handle more intensive games like Helldivers 2, Monster Hunter: World, and Baldur's Gate 3 smoothly.

Looks like your link to PCPartPicker might not be working. You might want to consider a permalink for better sharing. There are ways to fix it, like by editing your part list and using the generate options. Sharing it correctly will help others give you better advice!

I noticed you didn't clarify if this build is strictly for gaming, but considering the games you mentioned, your setup seems solid. Just double-check the compatibility of your GPU and motherboard. It's also wise to think about future upgrades and whether your PSU can support everything well. Oh, and make sure your cooling solution is adequate for those more demanding titles!

Exactly! Good cooling is key, especially for those intensive games. Plus, having future upgrade options can save you money in the long run.

Since you're hitting around $1780 without the CPU, it looks like you've got room for upgrades! Check to see if you need more RAM for the games you're interested in, as they can be pretty demanding. And always consider the cooling system; efficient cooling can make a big difference in performance.

Yeah, upgrading RAM is always a good move for gaming! Also, I’d suggest looking into some high-quality fans if you haven't already.
