I've been trying to set up a simple VPS and get a static IP with Digital Ocean because I thought their prices were reasonable and they're a reputable service. However, I've run into a ton of issues—from not being able to edit my team metadata to difficulty adding a payment method. It's becoming really frustrating and I might have to look into using Azure or AWS instead. Why is it so hard to get them to accept my payment? Also, I keep getting a 400 Bad Request error from their API when I try to proceed.

I had a rough time with Digital Ocean too and eventually switched over to Vultr. They made me wait a couple of weeks just to sign up and even asked for proof of identity via LinkedIn! It was frustrating, but at least their VPS setup was smoother once I got through it.
It seems like you've hit a snag! I set up my payment with Digital Ocean a while back and everything went smoothly. But maybe they've changed something? Have you checked if there are any specific issues with your card or account? Sometimes those 400 errors can be due to incorrect details or settings on your account.
I haven't changed anything on my side. Just confirms my card info but then fails at processing it.
