How can I use my phone’s hotspot with a USB connection?

I'm trying to share my phone's internet connection through a USB cable using an app called PdaNet+. The problem is that it only works for a few minutes before disconnecting, and I'm not sure why that happens. I'm not using the premium version of PdaNet+, but I feel like it should stay connected longer than this.

It sounds like you're trying to set up a mobile hotspot from your Android phone without going through your carrier's service. That can sometimes cause issues. Have you checked to make sure that the settings in your app allow for more extended connections?

When you mention "hotspot via USB," it seems you're aiming to let your computer use your phone's internet via a cable rather than Bluetooth. That's totally doable! Make sure you have USB debugging enabled on your phone and check that your data connection is stable.
