I've been looking into using static SEO pages for different locations, filled with keywords relevant to those areas. The idea is to attract search engine bots with these pages, but I'm concerned about users landing on them when they click the search results. Is there a legitimate way to automatically redirect these pages to the main ones without violating SEO guidelines? I'd love some advice on how to properly implement this while still making it effective for search engines.

What you're thinking of doing is often seen as cloaking, which search engines really frown upon. They can penalize your site if they catch you showing different content to users versus crawlers. Instead of creating static pages that users can land on, it's better to make real landing pages with unique content for each area. You could also use dynamic content that changes based on the region, which keeps everything above board and still boosts your local SEO.

I get that, but I’ve heard dynamic pages can be tricky for bots to index. Can you really make it work without a 301 redirect?
