Hey everyone! I currently have a 4070 graphics card in my setup, and while it performs well, I'm considering an upgrade. I've heard positive things about the 5070 Ti and am curious if this would be a worthwhile investment for better performance. Is it the best option for a future upgrade, or should I look at other cards instead? Thanks for your input!

I was going to upgrade to the 5070 Ti earlier this year, but due to the launch price issues, I ended up getting a Taichi 9070 XT for $730 instead. If you find the 5070 Ti for MSRP at $750, it's definitely a solid upgrade, but I'd advise against paying over $1000 for it. I'm happy with my choice so far, even though the 9070 XT does run a bit hot at times.

There's a local store that has one for about $850, so it’s a bit more, but I might go for it if I decide to upgrade.

The 5070 Ti is around 45% faster than the 4070 and comes with 33% more VRAM. Plus, it has features like multi-frame generation which could enhance your experience. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide if that performance boost is worth the cost.

That does sound nice! I might take a few days to think about it.

If you're planning for the future, it might be better to hold off and see what the upcoming RTX 6000 series offers. There's always something new on the horizon, so waiting could give you better options later.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll keep that in mind.

Before you make that leap, think about whether your 4070 is meeting your gaming needs. If it is, then spending $750 on an upgrade might not be the best move right now.

You're right, it actually is performing well. My setup is strong with a 13900K and 64GB of RAM, so I can handle most games fine. I’m just worried about max settings in a few, but I guess I can wait and see if it’s worth it.
