Is a 600 Watt Power Supply Sufficient for an AMD Sapphire 9070?

I'm considering using an AMD Sapphire 9070 (base non-XT model) with my gaming rig, which has a low-power Ryzen 5600G processor and a 600 watt power supply. I'm a bit hesitant to change out the PSU and worried about any potential issues. Since this is a Cyber Power gaming computer from 2021, will running this setup cause any problems? Thanks for the help!

You should be fine running the non-XT version of the 9070, as it’s actually quite power efficient with a 220W TDP. The Nitro+ pushes a bit more at 245W, but if you look into undervolting, you could make it work with your 600W PSU. Just a heads-up though, Sapphire does recommend a minimum of 650W. Here’s a quick tutorial on undervolting you might find useful: [Undervolting Tutorial](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A9NKdhu0Ug) But in the long run, I’d suggest upgrading to at least a 750W PSU when you can—it’s a good safety net!

Totally agree! It really does depend on the quality of your PSU. A reliable model like the CX600 should hold up okay.
