I've managed to secure one client, but I'm having a tough time attracting more. I'm not sure where to focus my efforts—should I go for cold calls, set up Google search ads, or dive into Facebook groups? Any advice for a web developer trying to get off the ground would be greatly appreciated!

I recommend hitting the pavement! Try visiting local businesses that don't have websites. Make a list of potential clients, and aim for about 20 walk-ins each day. A decade ago, I charged around $300 CAD for a basic site and had a blast doing it!

That sounds a bit daunting! What if they think I'm being pushy? But I guess it's not worse than making cold calls.
