What Tools Can Help Me Build My Social Media App?

I'm working on creating a minimum viable product (MVP) for a social media web app that I've designed. I've been using Bubble for months, but I keep running into problems when trying to add features like image grids, media uploads, and dynamic feeds—it slows down way too much and often breaks. I've also tried using Figma and a few AI website builders, but they only seem useful for basic marketing sites.

What I need is a tool that can help me create or at least scaffold a real web app with functionalities like user accounts and authentication, managing data relationships, file uploads, and a dashboard/layout. I'm pretty new to coding, so I'm looking for something that can assist me with generating clean React/Next.js code, or even a backend with Supabase or Firebase. I want to eventually either continue editing it myself or hand it over to a developer. I've got everything mapped out, but I'm not sure how to proceed from here. I've thought about hiring someone from Fiverr as well but am wary of getting scammed. Any suggestions?

You've hit a common roadblock! Learning all those advanced skills takes time, but if you're looking for help, hiring a developer might be your best bet. Just be sure to thoroughly vet their work to avoid any issues. It’s important that they understand the nuances of what you need since AI may not always produce the best practices in code.

Thanks for the tip! Do you know any platforms where I could find trustworthy developers?

I totally understand where you're coming from. It's tough when you realize no-code tools like Bubble can only take you so far. Skywork's AI developer might be just what you need; it can build the whole app instead of a basic page. It generates the React/Next.js front-end you’re looking for, with a backend setup for authentication and data relationships. Super handy for laying down the first bits of your MVP!

Definitely leaning towards React/Next.js with either Supabase or Firebase for your backend. You should explore AI tools like TeleportHQ or Builder.io too; they can help you scaffold React code and build out your app step-by-step without overwhelming you. You will have a clean application that you can modify or pass off to a developer later on.

I recommend checking out UltimateWB. It's designed with all the functionalities you need for your project and is quite customizable. This could help you avoid the struggles you're facing with Bubble, plus it's user-friendly!
